Description
D&D 100’ One Design
Pure Classic Modern SuperYacht Racer.
We developed a bigger version in a preliminary stage and concluded
that the 100ft version has more to offer than the 131ft version.
She is developed to race with the super yachts all over the world and in the Spirit of Tradition regattas. In 2015 there are 12 SuperYacht events organised all over the world and many regattas for the Modern Classics.
One big advantage of the 100’ is that she only needs a crew of 8 for racing and 3 for cruising.
She will be gaffed rigged and tiller steered!
Just like in the old days and how sailing really should be
Just as with the 43’ the 100’ fits in the Godinet Rule from 1892.
The rule has been respected with a modern approach.
the styling applied will be more
to a new age. The interior remains industrial and hyper modern.
Mixing the best of the past, the gaffed rig, with today.
After studying the construction costs the end sum is definitely high.
When we compare them with other 100’ sailing yachts the final price is about 50% less.
These costs dramatically dropped when using our K.I.S philosophy.
The costs of a pure racing machine of this dimension remains
far below any other project of this size on the market today.
Maintaining quality and only the real necessities are being applied on this yacht.
Less is more.
