C&C 35 MK1

Galatea is Hull No. 26 in the famed C&C Mark I line.  Originally constructed in 1970, but she was comprehensively retrofitted in 2004.  New spars and standing rigging and all new oversized winches and running rigging, led back to the cockpit, modernized this classic.  Other updates have been added to provide for easy shorthanded sailing and more efficient racing.  Comprehensive interior renewals included a new array of working ports, refurbished woodwork, a teak and holly cabin sole, all new interior and cockpit cushions, an electric freshwater head with dedicated supply tank and new holding tank.  Later upgrades focused on further racing improvements, including the addition of a Selden sprit for asymmetrical spinnaker downwind sailing.  She was repowered in 2025 with a Beta 25 diesel and, new exhaust and fuel tank.  Galatea is a comfortable and spirited boat that has been outfitted for racing and cruising.  With an impressive racing record, Galatea is ready for a new Owner.
