I purchased the1988 SCARAB KV on March 17, 2005. This boat is the "Miami Vice" edition. Over the past 20 years of owning it has been kept under roof and only used on lake/river waters. Power - Upon receipt the boat had 502's at 460 hp, Borgwarner transmissions and Mercrusier TRS stern drives driving 4 blade stainless steel Bravo 1 propellers. This overhaul took place in 2002 replacing the original 454's at 330 hp each. I replaced both engines with 540,s at 600 hp June 1st 2016. The engines were dynoed and have the printed documentation. Current hours on these engines is 170 hours. I moved from Cincinnati to Indianapolis and this vessel sat idle for for 5 years Vessel - SCARAB Racing - Hull Number - WELP4366B888 Net Weight 9100 lbs Builder Wellcraft "SCARB 38 KV Construction Molded Fiberglass Electronics - Radio 1 VHF, Compass Aquameter power damped 6 in. Safety Equipment - Horn, 5 approved life jackets, halon automatic fire extinguisher (engine compartment) and 1 hand held. Approved navigation lights for inland and international waters. Additional Equipment - Hydralic engine hatch lift, custom stainless steel exhaust, stainless swim ladder, radar arch, stainless steel hand rails, 2 foredeck canvas cockpit covers, power steering, Perko sea strainers, Livoris gages. Batteries and Electrical System - 12 volt power is provided by 2 group 27 size batteries for engine starting and house power. Batteries are secured in the engine compartment and vapor type shut off switches are provided, as are fuse links. Batteries are maintained with a charger mounted on the bulkhead and 55 amp alternators on the engines. 110 V/30 Amp shore cord connection provides house power to the vessels eclectic control panel. All circuits  are breaker protected and gages are provided for AC and D C volts and DC amps. All wiring is of approved theroplastics, properly parceled and clamped to marine specifications. Condition of hull and trailer. The boat was wrapped in 2016 and has a  few notocable marks while being on the trailer. When boat is in the water the marks are not visible. The bottom was completely sanded and a Teflon coating was applied. The Nextrail aluminum tri axle trailer is 47' long and has been customized for this boat. It has brand new brakes and tires on all all six rims. I have owned this boat for 20 years. It is more than fun, loud and attracts a lot of attention. It is a 1988 and this exact model was used on the "Miami Vice" tv show starring Don Johnson. Many boaters know this and I have been called Vice Man many times. I have over $10,000 of parts that will also go with the boat at the asking price. The vessel is suitable for both inland and coastwise cruising.

30 ft NEWPORT SLOOP 1975 .. Price Reduced , MEDICAL Reasons , I must sell this very sound Sail Boat,  See Craigs List, Port Townsend , Wa. ..  I live in Tulsa Okla. Have sailed one sail boat or another out of Port Townsend for thirtyfive/fourty years.. Escaping work for weeks time spent extended vacation up North in the Summers. I purchased this 30 ft Newport, what I knew to be Sound/Solid sail boat for this summer and our future . Intended to and did sail her Noth from Brownsville marina to my second home, Port Townsend last week. We had a few things remaining to complete our goals for our, new to us, terrific Sailboat, (not much) .. when lousy health news said I wouldn't be able to continue these trips. .. but we did need to check all the boxes and sail her North to a permanent slip in Port Townsend.  see Craigs List, Port Townsend. She's not perfect, but in terrific, sound condition. many, many photographs. all taken in the last month (September),, after learning I would have to sell her. (please note; outboard pictured in cockpit is a Spare 9.9 , was only in need of a cab kit as pictured in boat when I located an excellent Electrisc start as pictured installed on transon) .. Am willing to take much less than I know she's worth. It's a great boat , in terrific, stand up condition  and Clean inside and out, I sailed us North , Slipping over in at Port Ludlow for a night and sailing on to P.T. next day, a few weeks back. Slipped now in P.T's. Main Marina. the 9.9 Yamaha Elect start kicker starts at touch of button (runs perfect) . the 3.3 Merc on dingy is a two stroke pull start, and starts/runs great. The autofurler up front deployed well for our trip North, and stuck on rewind as I've seen happen before. I've aways hated the things (autofutlers) and would suggest pull autofurler off the forestay, and put on either the great Lapper or the Jenny,,  pictured bagged in the galley with the Spinnaker and the spare Main. .. Before our trip we fully cleaned the hull/topsides and inside.. (the bottom I paid to have pressure washed in the water last summer). I installed a new depth gage , confirmed running lights working as needed using both Garmin GPS ,  we headed North below Agate Pass bridge.. .. I have reduced the price, and  is at this time, still negotiable.. Motor (Diesel) Kabota/Universal .. I assume I got air in fresh diesel lines when I installed new Injectors..and fuel pump .... dingy is clean and paintered to aft of boat. some items not perfect, headed home (fly) to airport, ride with brother, I was marking all wiring inside 12 v switch panel, some white tape turned up on forestep,  ..the head:  'Lectra San' unit is ancient and useless, the (blue) head holding tank (holding only, and is a wide spot in the line) with Head lined up to thry-hull.  Diesel tank I did suck out empty, added four gallon back and sucked that out(clean). Halyards are old but solid (hundreds of feet of spare, real line, is in Galley as pictured), the half inch Gold Line (150'+- rhode) is good and anchor is special (see pic), galley is terrific, table converts, the three burner stove was converted long ago to propane as is the grill in the cockpit. there is a beautiful (as is all the wood in this boat) folding Cockpit table (pictured) and Main Galley table drops and folds for additional, I assume, bunk space and an Autohelm as pictured... the insides and out are as pictured, not all items  are perfect, some we did not have time or use for and may be untried. ..  this is an obviously well cared for boat, worth considerably more than my personal health reasons dictate,  A well known maker with  a solid history, and is in terrific condition for it's age. boat is locked till I return (flying from home in Tulsa), to meet with buyer on date/price we agree to. .. I treat persons with respect, and will look for the same. I will try to answer questions from Serious persons who understand the subject and are Serious about purchasing our sailboat. thank you for your time spent with my  posting and this boat ..that I am forced by health to sell. [email protected] Thank You again, 918-200-3329 .. Ken H.
