Introducing Buenaventura - a 2007 Nordhavn 47, Hull number 48.
Manufactured by Pacific Asian Enterprises and designed by Jeff Leishman. Buenaventura was completely refurbished in 2019 and maintained by owners.
Timeless classic design that never gets out of style.
Nordhavn 47 is built for blue water cruising and long-range passage making. An extremely safe and reliable Cat. A vessel ready for some serious cruising.
Powered by reliable single John Deere 266 HP main engine and Yanmar XX HP Wing engine. Coupled with Lombardini 14kW Generator and fuel capacity of 5600 Liters. With range over 3000 nm at 6,5 knots. With easy-to-use TRAC hydraulic stabilization system with underwater fins for smooth and comfortable ride.
She comes equipped with a comprehensive suite of electronics including 2 x 16” Garmin MFDs in Pilot house, 12” and 7” Garmin MFDs plus 7” Raymarine MFD on Flybridge, AIS, Garmin Radar, Garmin Forward looking sonar, 2 x Autopilot, Maretron N2K Monitoring system with Monitors in Pilot house and on Flybridge etc.
Saloon area is very spacious thanks to asymmetric layout of the vessel.
On starboard side of the saloon there is a C shaped lounge with a beautiful triangular teak table that can seat up to 6 people. Opposite on port side there is a straight lounge that can seat up to four people.
Saloon also features a closed compartment with washing and drying machines.
Very spacious saloon-level galley is equipped with a commercial gas stove with gas oven, Vitrifrigo door type fridge with separate freezer and cooling drawers.
Pilot house has a very comfortable Stidd pilot chair for extremely comfortable long-range cruising. Behind pilot’s chair there is a seating area with teak table and a single person watch cot behind it.
Vessel has a two-stateroom layout. Both staterooms are all very spacious with ample headroom. Both are equipped with comfortable ensuite head with separate shower.
Cooling and heating are provided via heat pump and fully automatic with separate thermostat in each room for max comfort in all climates.
Flybridge has two Stidd pilot chairs and a separate seating area behind. Above Flybridge there is a fixed bimini top with 8 solar panels controlled by Victron power management providing up to 1.080W charging power on a sunny day.
Deck is equipped with a large davit for launching a 3,6m Walker Bay tender on starboard aft and port side. It can also be used for lifting and lowering other equipment on and off deck.
Tender is placed on a large box that doubles as a lounge area when the tender is off deck. Inside the box there is also enough storage space for sea toys and tables and chairs that can seat up to 9 people. Perfect for socializing at anchor or in marinas away from prying eyes.
Deck area can be shaded by a manual lift-up canvas that is fixed on a mast console and removable pools in deck corners.
Foredeck is accessible via a Portuguese bridge providing extra security in rough weather.
Vessel is equipped with a 90kg extra-large custom spade anchor providing superb holding power at anchor.
Cockpit has a fixed upholstered chair that doubles as a storage space for a large charcoal grill that can be fixed above water on the swimming platform. Perfect for bbq afternoons and socializing.
