Description
Catalina 380 for sale in Grenada. The super-solid, well-built Catalina 380 is one of the very few boats of this size with a full-width master cabin with centre line queen-sized bed, which is very comfortable with good access, and a separate walk-in shower stall. EmJay is fully equipped and ready to cruise, EmJay has been a full-time liveaboard since 2020. 480 watts of new solar plus 6 blade aerogen wind generator with 320 Ah of new absorbed glass mat batteries makes EmJay fully self-sufficient. Full set of galley equipment, comprehensive spares and tools, she's ready to go!
Major upgrades include new Doyle Offshore sails and stackpack, new lifelines, new 10’ Highfield aluminium rib tender with custom Sunbrella chaps and new 15 hp Suzuki 2 stroke, new complete Raymarine electronics package, new Raymarine type 2 autopilot drive, new Sunbrella upholstery, cushions and mattress. New 406 Mhz EPIRB, upgraded hard case liferaft. Freshly painted interior, bright and clean with LED lighting.
She has a well maintained reliable Westerbeke 42B, with low hours. Standing rigging all replaced 2015-2018. Other smaller upgrades include; engine fixed fire suppression, propane and carbon monoxide sensors, new propane lines, foredeck shade, 6 new opening ports in saloon, low power fans in saloon and master cabin, LED lights throughout, new navigation lights, new stereo and speakers in saloon and cockpit, new sewage tank and lines, all raw water and drain hoses replaced. Hot water tank removed to make room for potential future watermaker.
The current owner is a safety conscious and diligent retired Master Mariner, and they have spent an estimated US$30k in upgrades and improvements. We have personally known this yacht for the past 5 years.

Saloon teak and holly sole cosmetic stains could be refinished.
Access hatch in vee berth sole requires replacement.
Sprayhood is serviceable but showing its age, could be replaced in the next couple of years.
Anchor and chain are serviceable but could be replaced in the next couple of years.
One fixed window in main saloon has a slight leak, needs re-bedding.
At next haul-out, advise to replace anchor locker drain (spares in hand) and renew dripless shaft seal stuffing.
Items requiring attention above have been factored into the sale price.
