Description
This is a rare Tillotson-Pearson built Navy 44 Designed by McCurdy & Rhodes hull #5. This class of Naval Academy training sloop was built to stringent Naval specifications in Rhode Island, by Tillotson-Pearson which are also known for their fabrication of J Boats. Completely equipped for offshore sailing with downwind tackle and hardware including 5 deck mounted Barient 36 winches along with 2 cabin top and 2 primary 32's and 2 seconday 36's. The basic layout is as follows: Watertight bulkhead. Crew quarters with pipe berths port and starboard. Main salon area with pilot and transom berths port and starboard. Starboard galley, port enclosed head. Starboard
transom berth aft. New to the market with more detailed information to come.
