**The yacht can only be shown to serious buyers, please. That is, you are in a position that allows you to purchase her, should she meet your requirements and expectations.**
A lovely mature yacht by a quality American builder.
The sturdy build, exquisite cabinetry, and offshore character were the predecessors to what is now Tiara Yachts. Solid teak and maple cabin sole, stiff decks, hand laid fiberglass hull, high toe rail, keel-stepped mast, and secure center-cockpit are all marks of a well-constructed ocean cruiser.
The center cockpit model, introduced in 1980 and produced until 1987, with 66 built. It uses the same hull and sail plan as the "A" model aft cockpit.
Her Universal Diesel engine was professional rebuilt in 2011. Receipts available. 91 cu in, 32 hp, 4 cylinder, based on the Kubota V-1501 block and fitted with a Hurth HBW-100 marine transmission.
The accommodation includes an aft private cabin, a forward private cabin with louvred doors and "V"-berth, and two main cabin settee berths around the drop-leaf table. It has sleeping accommodation for six people. The main salon seating area is forward with reupholstered cushions, with the galley aft on the port side. The head is on the starboard side, opposite the galley, with the companionway steps from the overhead cockpit in between the head and galley. The head includes a shower and bathtub, with pressurized water. There is also a navigation station to starboard, with a seat that swings away over the starboard settee when not in use. Ventilation is provided by two large overhead hatches, two dorade vents, and multiple acrylic portlights. The bow includes a self-draining anchor locker.
For sailing there are two primary winches mounted to the cockpit coamings, plus two halyard winches forward on the cabin roof. The genoa has an adjustable track. The mainsail boom has a 5:1 mechanical advantage outhaul and internal double reefing.
The mainsail has Lazy Jacks, and housed using Stackpack. New roller furling plus standing and running rigging replaced the same time as the sails, 2013.
Quantum sails, new in 2013.
There is an Achilles tender on stainless davits, with a Tohatsu 6HP outboard. Tender is worn and sun tanned, but holds air and is usable.
V-berth cushions are included but they have not been reupholstered like the salon cushions.
There is a Honda portable 2kw generator.
The instruments are Raymarine wireless, but they need to be permanently mounted.
The yacht has been consistently sailed and maintained for many years. Owners purchased a motor yacht.
