All wiring was replaced with Anchor tinned up-gauged marine wiring with new breakers and Blue Seas switch panels.  The battery system is comprised of 3, 12-volt deep cycle batteries in two banks, isolated by a Blue Seas ACR (Automatic Charging Relay) and charged on AC power by a ProMariner HD12 two bank charger. Two 100 watt solar panels are controlled by a Victron Smartsolar system.  There are two rotary isolation switches and a 30-amp shore side input. A diesel heater supplies heat to the forward cabin, rear cabin and helm station with controllable dampers for each area. The 4’x3’ aluminum helm station hatch opens and tilts in all directions to provide ventilation and full unobstructed view around the boat. The solar panels are mounted on this hatch. There are two swiveling helm seats on a pivoting, sliding aluminum framework that tilts up for access to the engine below and also provides a framework for four drawers for books & charts. Aft of the helm station there is a full aluminum cabin top that extends to cover the entire cockpit/salon area. There is a large and very handy aluminum storage basket and radar arch that is attached on top of the hardtop.  A sturdy dodger with Issen glass panels and heavy duty zippers extends down from the hardtop and encloses the cockpit/salon area. This arrangement has proved to be very water tight, is convenient for entry and provides for many ventilation options.  There are insect screens for all openings. All cabin lighting is LED, most with dimming features and most are fitted with integral USB outlets. There is amber overhead night vision lighting in all cabins and a red chart whip light at the helm station. There is a bright flood mast head forward fog light and standard navigation/running and anchor lights. The boat is powered with a Yanmar 3YM30, 30 HP engine with 1730 hours. The original water lift muffler has been replaced with a new oversized rigid model, and the exhaust water injection elbow has been replaced with a stainless elbow with a 6” lift. New exhaust temperature and engine water temperature gauges and alarms have been installed. A Racor T24 fuel filter maintains clean diesel from the 25-gallon stainless tank. The engine uses a little over ½ gallon per hour. The tank is supplemented with 3, 5-gallon jugs that are stored under the forward vee berth giving Half Pint a range of approximately 360 miles. There is a single 30-gallon poly water tank and 5, 2.5 gallon polly jugs stored under the port vee berth, each system having its own galley foot pump.  There is also a saltwater foot pump. The aluminum swim steps extends across the transom and is fitted with 2 Weaver davits. The aft cabin has two 6’3” berths with ventilation hatches in the foot wells that provide convenient storage. There are USB charging stations and head of bed storage and illumination for each berth.  Split Dutch door at aft stateroom provides additional ventilation and easy access to the aft stateroom. A cockpit/salon table swings up from the lower section of the Dutch door and secures to the overhead for dining. There is plenty of cabinet storage space in the galley and under both forward vee berths. There is a stainless 3-burner propane stove and two bottle propane locker located in the cockpit area. There are 2 fire extinguishers, a CO and smoke hard wired detectors in the forward cabin. There are two bilge pumps:  The forward pump is a Rule submersible, and the aft pump (in the main bilge) is a 2000 GPH diaphragm pump.  Both pumps operate with auto/manual rocker switches. The head is an Airhead composting toilet. There is a built-in tool locker and spare parts cabinet. This little ship has been to Alaska and back and all points in between.  A slip is available in Port Hadlock Marina.
