This exceptionally well-kept 2006 Chaparral Signature 310 (33’ LOA) has been a fantastic weekend cruiser for us. It’s the perfect size for spending a couple of nights on the lake while still being easy to handle and comfortable for entertaining.
One of the things we’ve always loved most about this boat is the large U-shaped cockpit seating. It’s a great space for meals, games, or just relaxing with friends in the evening. There’s also a portside lounger seat and dual helm seat, which makes the cockpit feel very social while underway or at anchor.
The swim platform sits nice and low to the water, which makes swimming, paddleboarding, or just dangling your feet in the lake really easy. We had a BBQ mount fabricated and installed so the BBQ overhangs the water and keeps the swim platform as clear as possible. We also spend a lot of time relaxing on the bow, and the boat will include two large bean bag chairs that make it a great lounging spot with friends.
Chaparral designed the boat with lots of practical storage as well, including transom storage, a cockpit ice chest, and a dedicated cockpit cooler, which makes hosting easy without constantly going below deck.
Below deck, the cabin is surprisingly spacious for a boat this size with 6’6” of headroom, and comfortably sleeps up to five people. The aft cabin can also convert to a small table and seating area, which is a nice option when spending longer weekends onboard. There’s also a forward berth with hatch overhead for ventilation, full galley (with large fridge), and an enclosed head with shower and vacuflush toilet (like on airplanes)
Over the years we’ve invested heavily in modernizing the boat, including lithium power, smart lighting, upgraded premium audio, and updated electronics. It’s likely one of the most technologically upgraded Signature 310s around.
The boat is powered by twin Mercury 5.7L 350MAG engines (300 HP each) with 560 hours and includes a Kohler 5kW generator. It has spent its entire life in freshwater and has been carefully maintained.
