Aft-cabin yachts of this era often looked more like condos than boats, but the sleek profile of the 420 spokes volumes about Sea Ray’s ability to incorporate European styling influences in an American yacht.

Built on a fully cored hull with prop pockets, the 420’s two-stateroom cherry-trimmed interior has more usable space than one expects in a boat this size.

Beginning with an expansive salon with an L-shaped sofa to starboard and raised dinette to port, each stateroom features walkaround queen berths, and heads include separate stall showers. A serving counter with twin bar stools forward in the salon overlooks the 420’s large galley with separate under-counter refrigerator and freezer, convection oven, and tons of storage. Across from the galley, to port, is a separate utility room with washer/dryer combo, clothes hamper, and pantry.
