Description

One of Alexander’s most popular models (about 140 were sold during her 7-year production run), the Ocean Alexander 42 is a well-proportioned family cruiser with a sensible layout and a rakish, euro-inspired profile. Like most Ocean Alexander designs, the 42 was built on a weight-efficient modified-V hull with moderate beam, a shallow keel and cored hullsides. An appealing feature of the 42 is a large cockpit that provides a good deal of open-air entertaining space for family and guests. Visibility from the lower helm is very good. Additional features include a transom door and swim platform, a well-arranged bridge with the helm forward, serviceable side decks, and excellent interior joinery.

October 2021 survey available on request:  “The interior condition is very good with clear evidence of recent upgrades and maintenance. The vessel overall stands as being in very good condition and clearly has been well equipped and maintained over the past several of years.”

Assumable moorage at the desirable Port Sidney Marina.
