The 1973 Bertram 42 is a classic 70's motoryacht powered by twin Cummins 903 diesel engines. Picked up at auction, this boat is running and functional for immediate local use.
The boat layout is somewhat unusual as the mid-level galley is forward with a hallway to starboard opening to the forward v-berth cabin with a private head and shower. Aft of the salon is the full beam master stateroom with two single beds, a private head and shower, vanity, and large hanging lockers. A hallmark of these boats is the enormous headroom in all quarters.
A 12kw Onan generator is located below decks which powers the entire boat when not on shore power.
A complete galley is working to provide you with all the tools needed for meals and refreshments.
There is ample seating in the main salon for conversation and meals.

Condition
The 1973 Bertram is a functioning motor yacht in generally fair to good condition. The engines run, and the bottom was painted in 2022. The fire suppression system is obsolete and needs updating. The condition of the electronics is unknown, although all boxes turn on.
