INTUITION is a fast and nimble Ron Holland designed Nautor Swan 371, Hull #69, built in the world-renowned Swan facility in northern Finland. Recent upgrades in 2014 include a new mainsail, a rebuilt Yanmar 3GM30 and, in 2016, a completely renewed epoxy-glassed and copper-coated bottom and a professional rudder rebuild.
INTUITION is in sail-away condition for a buyer looking for the pure exhilaration of sailing a true Swan. Presently located in a desirable and affordable slip near Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, a new owner would have the option of taking over the slip and reaching open water in just minutes with NO bridges to open.
Sails and Rig
IINTUITION is a masthead sloop, also equipped with a retractable inner forestay for rigging a hank-on staysail for heavy weather sailing. Two furling genoas, 135 and 110, were built by North Sails. The full-battened mainsail was built by Rolly Tasker and installed new in 2014. There is also a symmetrical spinnaker and pole for downwind performance. All lines, including halyards, are led aft, for easy handling from the cockpit.
INTUITION'S traditional layout below deck includes beautiful solid teak joinery to Swan standards throughout. The linear main salon has port and starboard settees which also serve as single berths and a pilot berth to port. The forward cabin has twin pipe berths for crew and ample sail storage. The head is forward of the main salon to starboard and the galley is aft to port. There is a generous nav station to starboard and an aft cabin that includes on single and one double berth.
INTUITION was re-powered with a rebuilt Yanmar 3GM30 diesel in 2014. Current hours are fewer than 320.
INTUITION's galley features a gimbaled 3-burner propane stove with oven, a double stainless sink, and a traditional ice box.
