The Kraken 66 is the flagship of the Kraken fleet and follows the design criteria of comfort, safety, reliability and performance. The Kraken 66 is developed as the ideal cruising yacht for those who love sailing and want to go places but would like to do it without the need for crew. At 66 feet in length she has numerous features to make handling her in all situations and conditions as easy as a much smaller yacht. She can be cruised in comfort by a short-handed crew or just a couple. The hydraulic power pack option provides instant power for all winches and sail controls including foresail furlers. From the comfort of a wide helm seat, the helmsman is connected to all features of the sail plan via controls at the console or winches. Having the ability to make adjustments from the helm, whilst crew are elsewhere, relieves the stress and concern of sailing. Her spacious cockpit is matched with an equally spacious interior with a forward facing interior watch and navigation station, located close to centre of the boat. This position is extremely comfortable and the adjustable chair gives the visibility and sense of purpose one would expect in a captain's chair of a super-yacht. This mini super-yacht has been built to accommodate every luxury one would expect aboard a yacht two or three time its size. The 66 is built to accommodate an outstanding option list including numerous high end domestic appliances and amenities. To include this level of specification in a yacht of this size at this price is breath-taking.

HARDY 65A SEA-GOING MOTOR YACHT WITH LITTLE SHIP CHARACTERISTICS The flagship of the Hardy range, this stunning semi-displacement Andrew Wolstenholme design brings ‘little ship’ characteristics to the motor yacht market, making the Hardy 65 ideal for the serious cruising yachtsman. Capable of up to 30 knots from a twin 1,200hp installation, her standard MAN 800hp engines will give 25 knots, with quiet, comfortable, effortless cruising in just about any weather conditions. Engine controls are located in the wheelhouse, flybridge and aft deck and 6,100 litres of fuel can be carried – another indication that this motor yacht is built to go places. The expansive flybridge deck, which is accessed from the aft deck and directly from the wheelhouse, offers various seating and dining areas, with plenty of space left over to stow a RIB. The aft deck is laid out to suit al fresco dining and leads through double doors to a light, bright saloon. Various layouts are possible, including having the galley just aft of the wheelhouse, or at the lower accommodation level. Sleeping accommodation typically comprises three double en-suite cabins, with the owner’s stateroom comfortably positioned amidships and flooded with light through four large hull windows. Below the aft deck, and accessed via a door in the aft superstructure, the lazarette area can be fitted with crew accommodation and also serves as a utility/workshop area. A watertight door leads through to a proper engine room that has standing headroom and easy maintenance access to all equipment. The Hardy 65 is built on a semi-custom basis allowing buyers to optimize both the interior layout and finishing of their yachts to precisely match their cruising requirements and tastes.

  5. Ferretti Yachts 650

Ferretti Yachts 650 is the first in a series of models that are bound to set a new functional and technical standard for the “Yachts” product line below 70 feet in length. Developed thanks to the cooperation between the Product Strategy Committee, Ferretti Group’s Marketing Department, AYT&D - Advanced Yachts Technology & Design, and Studio Zuccon International Project, the project draws inspiration from the Ferretti 620. The Ferretti Yacht 650 immediately strikes the eye for its extensively renovated profile. Its outer silhouette is characterised by an aerodynamic flybridge and new fibreglass decorative elements that “cut” through the profile of the glazing in the superstructure. An unprecedented decoration connects the windows of the three cabins below deck. The slender lines are further enhanced by the yacht’s aft area, specifically designed to ensure easy and safe storage and launch of the tender while increasing the guests' onboard comfort. A tender lift has been developed, capable of lifting an over-3-metre-long tender that can be lowered into the water by a metre with respect to its original position, thereby allowing the vessel to be davit-free: a valuable attribute which provides an incredible amount of additional living space. As is the case on all models in the range, on this 65-footer the shipyard is proposing alternative layouts both on the sundeck – which also comes in the hard-top version – and inside the boat. Ferretti has designed a “TaiHe Dian” edition of the 650, devoted in particular to owners from select markets in the Asia-Pacific. This special edition features areas on board which are exclusively dedicated towards entertainment and business related functions The main deck is a true open space forward until the windshield, functional and extensively renovated in terms of furnishings and décor. The galley is completely open: this solution allows to fully exploit this room as a large bar area opening onto the stern and towards the dining and living areas, further contributing to a sense of volume and making living onboard even more enjoyable. The underdeck layout includes three double cabins and three separate heads. In the “TaiHe Dian” edition, the main difference is that the galley is on the lower deck replacing the starboard guest cabin, and on the upper deck there is a large dinette. The central part of the salon as well as the two main cabins and third head have remained unchanged. With Ferretti Yachts 650, the brand goes back to installing engines produced by Caterpillar. The boat is equipped with a pair of CAT C18: in the standard engine configuration - a pair of 1015 mhp C18 engines – the FY650 can indeed reach a cruising speed of 26 knots and a maximum speed of 30 knots. The optional engines (1150 mhp), in turn, can push the yacht to a cruising speed of 30 knots and a top speed of 33 knots. The range is 275 and 245 nautical miles, respectively, at maximum speed, and 310 and 290 nautical miles, respectively, at cruising speed (preliminary data).
